A new year!

Hi you all! :) Can you believe it's 2009? For some reason, New Year's always has the element of simplicity and relaxation that I really wish Christmas did! We brought in the new year watching "The Last Sin-Eater" (a great movie!) at home. I spent today baking with my oldest daughter, who is the only one of our kids home today/ tonight...So our New Year's has been a good one, and I hope yours has as well! What did you do to celebrate the new year? Did you make any "new year resolutions"? I have to decided to relax more with and enjoy my kids/family more (like I was telling you about in my last post).

I hope that this coming year will be a wonderful one for all of you! :)

Hi Jenni,

It sounds like you had a relaxing New Year's Day. We watched movies (nothing special) and play with the new Wii. I just say things I want to do in the new year but no resolutions...cause then I break them too easily.

I think I'm going to borrow your new years resolution. And also include learning photoshop...I've always wanted to learn.

Happy New Year!

Hey Jenni,
I'm back from my blogging break! I've missed you! I love your last post and all the photos of your family! I recognize that mountain in the background! (wink, wink)

We did nothing for New Years but hang out with family and watch movies too. It was perfect.
No resolutions but just new starts and new decisions about what direction I want to go! But like you it will involve lots of family time!

Thank you for being so special and all the comments you leave on my blog-I always look forward to hearing from you and coming over here and seeing what you are up to!

Have a blessed New Year friend,
Robin~♥

We had a relaxing New Years, much like yours. Our kids stayed with the hubbies parents, so he and I hibernated and watched movies. We are pretty low key people. Houseplants you might say! Hee Hee.

Your children are darling and I wish you and your family a happy and healthy new year.

What a nice way to usher in the new year. I really like The Last Sin Eater. Powerful message. Your ideas for your new year are wonderful.
I stayed up to watch the ball drop in NY and forgot I was on a different time zone. Needless to say, I waited and waited and realized it had dropped 3 hours prior! :o) My kids Sunday school laughed this morning when I told them. :o)
The last time I watched the ball drop, we were living in FL so we were on the same time zone. :o)
Have a wonderful Sunday.
