My first ever giveaway!

Guess what came in the mail on Monday afternoon?

After reading a post about this book on {The Cottage Nest}, I knew I needed to put this book on my birthday wish list, but my husband bought me it for an Easter gift!

And I decided it looked like such a wonderful, inspiring book that I wanted to share it not only with you on this post, but with you in a giveaway, too! I have not done a giveaway before, so this is long, long overdue...

I have already looked at some of the book since it arrived and let me tell you, it is deliciously good!

For those of us who struggle to pinpoint our exact decorating style, this is the perfect book! Like Jen at {The Cottage Nest}, I found my style is really and truly Vintage Casual, even though I am sometimes drawn to things outside that spectrum...

And in the first picture describing this style, I found something I already own and love, although mine is a replication...

I can tell this book will be not only helpful, but a lot of fun to read! (I know these pictures don't do it justice. I never realized how hard it was to take a picture of a picture before blogging!)

For a chance to win your very own copy of this book, please leave a comment below. For two chances to win, blog about this giveaway and then let me know in a second comment that you did so! You absolutely don't have to have a blog to enter, but please do make sure to leave an email so I can let you know if you win! The deadline for entering is midnight on Sunday, PST!

I hope you are all having a great week!

Many Blessings,

Good Morning Jenni.
What a sweet gift that your husband purchased for you. :o) And thank you for being so kind to share it with us as well (not your copy of course ... smile).
I adore your home and have been so inspired with all you have done (and are doing). I love a country cottage look but am stumped most days on how to bring it about. I am hoping that my new love of quilting will add some of the look I am aiming for. :o)
Have a wonderful day.

Hi Jenni,
I came to your blog via Silvia's Casa Bella...and glad I did! As a tragic bookaholic I would naturally love to win! I understand what you say about photographing books. I recently blogged about Megan Morton's Home Love and had the same angst, hoping that I would do her justice! She sent me a lovely email, so I think I did ok!

Jenni...
When I created my first one, I could not stop for two days, this is why I have so many made up.
You will get more creative on each one and the more you do. Add any fragment of collected cool junk to them it will add to the charm.

I noticed your sister wrote me you two must be a great team.

I will expect you to post your tassel on your site and let me know when you post it I do not want to miss out on commenting you on it.

I too am real nervous about a giveaway as I have mentioned to you in a few post ago. I am getting the nerve up. So real soon I will post a giveaway or maybe two this way two bloggers have a chance to win.

Check with the postal when you ship the book if you tell them it is "MEDIA MAIL" it is real cheap!!! and we love those rates.

Well I am inspired that you are inspired, NOW!! you are forcing me to top this blog post... will see if I can, if not it will be my down time.

The tassels you can cut some of the length off some of the strips of cotton and do tie some knots in some of the ends it adds to the Gypsy feel to them. They will fit in any shabby chic decor.

You can use old pillow cases and sheets as well, I went crazy when I ran out of muslin and added pillow case rosettes to the tassels as well.

See you dear.
Creating always.
