A "new" frame

I found this frame a few months ago, either at a garage sale or a thrift store~ I can't remember which! It isn't really new, of course...

I saw it had potential, despite it's gaudy "gold" plastic! It had character that would be clear to see IF only for a coat of white paint! :)

I just finally got around to painting it...I replaced the bird picture with a letter. The letter "u", actually. This frame helps complete the word I framed for the mantel this Thanksgiving...

Of course, silly me, I forgot to get a close up shot of the frame I redid! Can you see it in the above picture?

I am often just barely on time, especially with holiday decorating. Is anyone else like this? Here I am showing you this on the tail end of Thanksgiving, and I know there are some of you who already have a good start on Christmas! And all I can say is, you amaze me! :)

I hope to post again before Thanksgiving, but just in case it doesn't happen, let me wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving! I hope you enjoy your time with the ones you love, and have a beautiful day! :)

Blessings,

Hi Jenni,
The frame turned out wonderful. Your "thankful" looks like it should be in a magazine...It's perfect.

I'm with you....I thought I would have Christmas up already but it just didn't happen. Soon. Soon.

Have a blessed Thanksgiving,

Robin~♥

Hi Jenni!

Your mantel looks great! I love it. Perfect for Thanksgiving and all year round! Thanks for stopping by to say Hi. We have been really busy and I have been feeling a little blogged out, thus the lack of posts on my blog. I wish you and your sweet family the Happiest of Thanksgivings! Can't believe it's almost Christmas!!

LOVE THIS! What a sweet idea! I should have decorated my mantle more before we got a mantle Westminster clock. I'm so grateful for my clock (anniversary gift this year), but now I have *no* idea where I'm going to display our "real" Nativity scene this year.

And I so wish I already had Christmas decorations up. I always do it the weekend after Thanksgiving, but with Turkey Day being so late this year, I feel like I'll barely finish getting everything out before it's time to put it away again!

Dearest Jenni.
I hope that your Thanksgiving is a great day. I love the frame makeover! I am so behind in the decorating category of my life. I have been scurrying about creating gifts. :o)
Your blog looks great! I have been trying to build mine on my own ... slowly but surely is my new motto these days. :o)
Love,
Trish
